Community Garden volunteers

The Georgia Tech Community Garden is a resource that is available to everyone on campus.  We have small plots available for individual or group use.  We also schedule work days for large scale, garden-wide improvement projects.  If you are interested in signing up for a plot, or getting involved in a work day project, please contact an executive board member.  Announcements for garden events, as well as other S.O.S activities, are distributed through our listserv.

Garden Master Plan

Community Garden Master Plan

In the Spring of 2016, S.O.S. adviser Brent Verrill proposed a master plan for the garden based on his Permaculture Design Certification final project. The design is divided up into three phases with distinct elements and projects in each phase.  The design is not meant to be adopted as it stands, but rather as a starting point for a broader design discussion.  The garden is a student-run endeavor, and will evolve according to the desires and efforts of those involved. Take a look at the proposed design and get involved.
